International strategy

When people and cultures meet, new thoughts, insights and ideas arise. Therefore, internationalisation is an essential means to achieve the regional goals of development.

Purpose

The purpose of this common strategy for the regional public bodies - the Association of Local Authorities, the County Council and the County Administrative Board of Västernorrland - is to

  • contribute to a common policy for the county on international issues
  • define goals, priorities, roles and co-operation needs on international issues
  • contribute to strengthening the international perspective of relevant activities
